Fantasy Couture 2009

Hello again Divas,

As many of us know it is the fall season of October that comprises of different looks and costumes. But have you ever thought of designing your eye makeup in a way that is not the norm. Our eyes are the focal point of our facial features. Our eyes are the main dominator that can determine if we look sick, plain or upset; anything you can imagine our eyes tell it all. But have you ever thought of taking your eyes to create a look of illusion or Fantasy?




I have came up with my own signature look titled "Fantasy Couture” with my muses Dynessa Myricks and even Beyonce; you can design your eyes to simulate animal characteristics. Even if you are very conservative person you to can experiment with different looks and still come across classy and stylish. The idea is not just to make a statement with your eyes but comes across classy and fierce while doing so. This look can be worn in any setting from a distance you can look like a golden goddess and up close people can see the intricate detailing of your eyes.




So stand our and be noticed when hitting the parties this weekend!!

Wedding Trends for Fall

Here comes the bride....

So fashionistas your coming close to that special day but there's only one problem your getting married during the fall.

What to do?!?

The key is to be an individual and you will accomplish this by stepping outside of the box on your special day. Typically brides have the misconception that their makeup must be bright with a lot of rose, pink and blush colors. Although there is nothing wrong with "looking" like the blushing bride; the key it to always stand out and be FIERCE on your wedding day.

Have you ever thought of adding the Smokey Eye as the bride's makeup of choice? Many of you may say, "A Smokey Eye? I am not going to the club on my wedding day!" But there is more than one way to accomplish the sexy and sultry look of the smokey eye in a clean and elegant way.

For the fall bride you can add natural and brown tones to your special day. Not only will you be in fashion with the latest trends but you will be all the rage of your friends on your special day. By using clean lines and superior blending you can take a edgy look and re-create it with a timeless and classy look.

Another unique feature for your special day is instead of adding the typical "french" manicure/Pedicure you can easily add mauve, dark brown and even black as your nail polish of choice. You can create your own signature look with the darker colors of fall and balance it with beautiful ivory and cream textures. Also adding a beautiful colorful bouquet will really balance out your fall decor.

So remember ladies think outside the box! You can create your own signature look even at your wedding day and also be stylish while your doing it!

Trends...Trends...Trends 2009

Hello Again my Fashionists!!

The topic of the day is Trends!

Usually I am the first person to say classic is always better and not to follow trends; but when it comes to Makeup I must say TRENDS are the way to go! It doesn't matter what shade of lipstick you purchase or eye Shadow you wear; as trends come and go you can always mix and match and create new signature looks of your own. When it comes to makeup do not fear! It is nothing that a little makeup remover cant take off at the end of the night.

"So" you may ask "What are the trends of 2009?"

Well your wait is over I am going to give you the inside scoop of the latest fashion forward trends of the year. For all of the 80s babies out there like myself you may not remember the timeless punk rock look of the 80s but there back! This year is totally PUNK Couture. Punk Couture is 1980 meets 2009! It has the edgy bold colors of the 80s with the nice clean lines and elements of 09' Looks expand from the sculpted lip, to the intense smokey eye, and my favorite back to black lips. Or as I call my signature look "Patent Leather Lips"!

With the new 80s concept this allows one to be their inner punk rocker. Looks can range from goth to flirty, bright and fun!

Beware people may stare...but you will be fierce and fabu with the "sweetest" trends out there.
